The Lidl Run Kildare Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 12th May 2013 at 12.30pm. The Lidl Run Kildare Half Marathon distance is 13.1 miles and mileage markers will be visible on the course around the beautiful Kildare countryside. The race will start from the Curragh Racecourse and finish back at the Curragh Racecourse after completing 1 large loop around the surrounding area. The course will take in the beauty of the Curragh plains, pass by the famous stud farms take you through Kildare Town. The Lidl Run Kildare Half marathon will meet the full marathon course during the race and both races will continue the last part of the course together.
The Lidl Run Kildare Half Marathon is open to runners, joggers, walkers and wheelchair users, whether you are entering a half marathon for the first time or chasing a new personal best, you are all welcome. Please take a look at our Training page on the website to assist you and give you tips to prepare for the big day.
To enter The Lidl Run Kildare Half Marathon you can register by clicking on the registration page on the website and following the instructions. Prices will vary depending on the date you enter the race. If you enter online there will be a booking fee of 8% alternatively you can download a copy of our manual entry form and post it to the address provided. Places are limited we advise you book early (See below for entry fees)
When you enter the Lidl Run Kildare Half Marathon you will receive:

Please note: There is an online booking fee of 8% (from our online booking provider) and an optional postage charge if you would prefer to receive your race pack by post rather than collection.
Lidl Run Kildare Half Marathon Course
Please note: To enter the Kildare Half Marathon you must be over 18 in accordance with the IAAF guidelines. It is recommended that any participant not currently involved in physical sporting activity, should consult their doctor before taking part in the event.
